Food, glorious food. It truly brings people together.
Kerrie and I shared a table at Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution Day. Two weeks later, I found myself in her kitchen, documenting each step of her and Felix cooking a delicious Chinese feast and some Mille Feuille.
There’s a dumpling tutorial in there somewhere, some pomegranate throwing and a pair of beautiful cats (a brother and sister who come with the house when you rent it :-))
These kitchen towels were hand made by Felix’s grandmother and have travelled all the way from Montreal. The special kind of gift that makes a kitchen a home, wherever in the world you may be.
I learnt that the way to prepare pomegranate minus the mess is to immerse them in water!
Over the next few weeks, Kerrie is hosting a series of delicious food events in E17 as part of the Appetite Festival and there are still a limited number of tickets left. Head over to Kerrie’s blog “Edible Feasts” to find out about dates and availability. I’ll be at Padre Pio’s Miracle Feast later this month!
